Year 4017- In our recent expedition to the fallen nation of Noxia, we uncovered some historical artifacts, mainly scrolls. While we continue to excavate and search for more clues, here are some previously unknown facts about two legendary figures: Darius and Draven.
“He was the best of brothers, he was the worst of brothers, he was the figure of wisdom, he was the figure of foolishness, he was the individual of belief, it was the individual of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Noxia’s High Command, we were all going direct the other way.” –Jericho Swain, close friend of Darius
An orphan, Draven only had his older brother, Darius; Darius was his brother, his mother, and his father. Draven was your average boy- playful, lively, and mischievous among other things.
“Today, I killed Teemo 827 times. It’s a new record.” -Darius
Darius had always been serious. He had to be, it was the only way he could survive, and more importantly, protect his brother. Despite his brute power, Darius wasn’t stupid; he knew the ways of his home, Noxia. Without anyone to protect him, the only way to survive was respect. He earned that respect by showing only one side. Even as a teen, the adults of his village respected Darius. He was feared, renowned for his strength and fearless demeanor. It wasn’t a completely Machiavellian type of respect, either. Darius was also admired for his discipline and absolute loyalty to his friends, and country.
“Draven wasn’t always an egocentric Diva. Many now look upon the glorious executioner, as an apathetic killing maniac, the symbol, the sigil of Noxian Might, but there was another side to him, maybe… I was too harsh” –Darius, in his final years
But, this isn’t a tale of Darius, it’s of Draven, center of the world.
Draven is famous for catching Axes, but you know how he got so good? Darius was a good brother, he provided for Draven, but he never really could be the caring motherly type. Instead of toys or balls, Darius gave Draven axes, taken from a slain enemy. While the other boys played ball, Darius played axes. However, Darius was too busy to play catch with Draven, in the end Draven became a master Axe catcher and thrower, showing off his skills to get the ladies, I mean the glory.
