Fortnite: Battle Royale’s long-awaited season X is here and, as usual, Epic Games has made some changes to the map.
The most obvious change so far is the return of Dusty Depot, which was destroyed many seasons ago. Players will be able to explore and relive their season one glory days at the area while trying to uncover the mysteries of season X.
The monster skeleton remains in place from last season at the cost of some notable exclusions from the map. The sky platforms, for example, have been removed along with the various Slipstreams that once allowed you to glide around the center of the map with ease. Slipstreams still exist at Neo Tilted and Mega Mall, however.
The biggest addition stems from the meteor suspended in time above Dusty Depot. You can actually go into the meteor as well to find loot. There are also some miscellaneous changes, such as the spaceship located east of Polar Peak reverting back into a chair and a small movie-watching area being added to the jungle in homage to Risky Reels.
Other than that, there doesn’t seem to be that many more huge changes to the Fortnite map this time around.
